YES. CMPs perform cooling, freezing, or both simultaneously and in all cases extremely quickly.

Smaller capacity models require a very small support surface and are ideal for installation in premises or kitchens with very little space.
YES. The CMPs reach a range of freezing temperatures between -35ºC and -38ºC. (A product is considered frozen when the heart of the product reaches -18ºC.).
PROTON breaks with the idea that the lower the temperature reached when freezing, the better the freezing.
It is scientifically proven that freezing up to these temperatures does not improve the quality of the products, but only increases time and electricity consumption.
The fundamental key is the passage of water from the liquid to the solid state, which does not depend on reaching very low temperatures.
These low temperatures ARE valid for the maintenance of some frozen foods such as tuna.
NO. The numbering of each model indicates the NOMINAL capacity, which is not the same as the actual freezing capacity.
Freezing capacity depends among other things on the type of products.
REAL capacity is calculated based on the time required for the specific food to freeze.
Freezing cycle is the time required for the full load of the freezer to reach -18ºC at the heart of each product.
For example, if it is a food that requires 15 min to freeze, as with sushi, 4 freezing cycles can be performed in 1 hour, so to know the actual capacity of the chosen model, its nominal capacity must also be multiplied by 4.
For this example, the real capacity of the PF-15 model for freezing a product that takes 15 min to freeze, as is the case with sushi, will be 60 kg / h (15x4), discounting the loading and unloading times between each freeze cycle.
NO. All PROTON® models, both cabinet (PF series), tunnel (TU) or Reborn, use exactly the same technology, so there are no freezing changes from one model to another.
The only thing that varies is the different capacity depending on the model.
YES. PROTON® technology allows to regulate the air speed inside the freezing room, having the most basic model (PF-15) with 3 speeds: High speed (2.2 / 3.0 m. Per second), Medium speed (1.6 / 2.2 m. Per second) and Low speed (1.0 / 1.6 m. Per second).
Higher models have more freezing speeds.
In general, the higher the air speed in the freezer, the shorter the time needed to freeze the product.
One of the recommendations is to use low speeds for battered products in order to avoid cracking when freezing, in the same way as for pastry products such as biscuits to prevent them from drying when defrosting. Alternatively, these products can be frozen packaged (boxed).
NO. Consumption varies depending on the model, but all CMPs have been manufactured under the premises of moderate consumption.
The electrical consumption of the smaller freezers (PF-3 and PF-15) is comparable to the consumption of a domestic freezer.
NO. PROTON does not use any consumable gas.
Unlike nitrogen, PROTON® does not need a refillable gas tank to freeze. The only gas that should not be replenished is the one that carries the freezer with it.
YES. The only cost that PROTON freezers have is electrical consumption, since as stated in the previous point, PROTON does not use any consumable gas.
If you want to calculate the cost per unit, you must calculate the electrical cost of freezing per unit and the cost of depreciation of the freezer charged also per unit. This is calculated by dividing the cost of the freezer by the number of years of depreciation, and this annual depreciation will be divided by the total number of frozen units per year.
The total number of frozen units per year is calculated according to the freezing time of the machine, the nominal capacity of the chosen machine and the number of hours of use of said machine.
YES. There is the PROTON® PF-3 model with a freezing capacity of 3 kg / h, which can be installed in the kitchen of a private home due to its measurements similar to those of an American fridge.
YES. PROTON® has the REBORN spectrum that converts your current freezing chamber into a magnetic freezing chamber by implanting REBORN modules, with a capacity of 40 or 60 kg per module, and expandable according to your needs.
