1999

The idea of ​​the President, Mr. Kazunari Ninomiya, was already before founding the company RYOHO FREEZE SYSTEMS CO., LTD in 1999, to commercialize his brilliant idea of ​​a freezer with a new technology that simply used magnetic fields, electromagnetic waves and cold air, the purpose of which was to keep intact the original organoleptic characteristics of fresh food once defrosted, by keeping the original cell structure free from damage after freezing.

2003

The commercialization of this type of freezer begins, prototypes of the current PROTON FREEZER, with whose name it began to be commercialized as of 2007.

2007

Since this year the expansion of PROTON technology has been spectacular, expanding its domain outside of Japan where it leads the freezing sector, until it was established in several countries (China, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Korea, ...) on the Asian continent thanks to an integrated development, manufacturing, sales and maintenance system of PROTON technology.

This same year and as a complement to PROTON technology, FUSION freezing technology begins to be commercialized.

2016

PROTON HOLDING is founded, bringing together all the companies in the group.

The PROTON freezing technologies and the FUSION defrosting technologies continue today in full expansion throughout Asia thanks to the reliability given by almost 20 years of experience and the trust of the most important agricultural, livestock and fishing companies and chains in the HORECA sector, and distribution of the Asian continent thanks to its high quality and efficiency in the freezing and defrosting processes.

2015

The subsidiary ENRICH FOOD MANUFACTURERS INC. Is founded, being in its facilities in Okinawa where PROTON technology freezes a wide variety of products from different sectors and producers throughout the Japanese territory such as sushi, seafood, meat, vegetables, etc., distributing them for commercialization in the large distribution chains in Japan.

The recognition of NBK Prize (New Business Kyogikai) and the Nihon Keizai is obtained.

2018

Since 2018 RYOHO FREEZE SYSTEMS CO., LTD trusts PROTON EUROPE SL for its expansion far from the Asian continent.

Except in Asia, PROTON and FUSION technologies have represented a technological innovation with a global impact.

Currently, PROTON EUROPE SL has offices in Central America, Peru, USA and Israel.

PROTON EUROPE SL follows its expansion plan and the opening of new branches in several countries in South America, the Persian Gulf, India and Africa is planned.

2008

The materialization of all the PROTON advantages in the HORECA sector is materialized with the creation of the PROTON DINNING chain, opening its first restaurant in the city of NARA (Japan).

Since then, more PROTON DINNING restaurants have been opened in other cities in Japan and in other countries such as China, Malaysia and Singapore.

For this, PROTON EUROPE SL has developed a Project for the creation of a FROZEN FOOD BANK, which will become a large warehouse of raw basic products (fish, meat and vegetables) and cooked dishes, fresh in frozen, all of them frozen by PROTON magnetic freezing technology.

Currently, there is no food store in Spain destined for charitable purposes with these characteristics, that is, frozen food and even less magnetically.

PROTON technology was initially designed for the freezing of Seafood.

Thanks to its effectiveness, it spread to other raw materials. PROTON is the freezing technology par excellence used by large fishing companies, fish farms (Tuna and Hamachi) and HORECA establishments, as it perfectly freezes fish, crustaceans, shellfish and cephalopods, as well as products made with fish.

Thanks to the fact that it preserves all the organoleptic properties of Seafood, it allows its consumption in raw (sashimi), also complying with the sanitary requirement to freeze previously eliminating Anisakis.

It also allows freezing species with seasonal catches, high-value species (eels, etc.) and avoiding sales at times of oversupply to concentrate them in periods of increased demand (Christmas).

SUSHI

PROTON is the only recognized way in Japan to freeze sushi rice correctly since it allows consuming frozen sushi as if it was freshly prepared.

VEGETABLES AND FRUITS

Japan has the highest longevity index in the world and in this aspect the consumption of vegetables plays a decisive role.

PROTON, thanks to maintaining the original cellular structure of food, fully preserves the nutritional and organoleptic properties of vegetables and greens (eddo, kabocha, ginger, bamboo, wasabi, etc.), and mushrooms (shitake, shimeji, enoki, nameko ).

Thanks to PROTON's efficiency, it is possible to freeze very high-value and impossible-to-freeze vegetables with other technologies such as truffle.

With PROTON it is also possible to freeze different whole fruits, although in order to keep the external part of some species perfect, a prior dehydration process is recommended, so its freezing in the form of pulp, purees and juices is always recommended.

BAKERY AND PASTRY

The Japanese have developed their own original bakery culture, with bread and pastries occupying a secondary position in the Japanese diet compared to rice, spreading its consumption after the Second World War.

For this reason they have developed different types and presentations of bread and pastries exclusive and original to this country (koppepan, suika bread, sarada bread, fruit and tamagoyaki sandwiches), with softness and delicacy being the distinctive characteristics of Japanese bread.

This type of industry requires a freezing without aggressiveness and that preserves these distinctive features and only PROTON is able to maintain these particularities thanks to its way of freezing: uniform, subtle and delicate. PROTON is used both for freezing precooked and cooked products, as well as for freezing different types of doughs (bread, pastries, pizzas, etc.).
